Oh Joseph Gordon-Levitt, gotta love him. :)
Ha! Glad this got found, I was so bummed it didn’t get allowed online. Oh, the law. Anyway, holy shit this feels like a long time ago. And since we’re on the subject, please indulge me to thank my friend Michael Rooney who worked tirelessly getting me ready to do this thing. He’s also the choreographer behind the 500 Days of Summer dance sequence, so yeah clearly he’s pretty fuckin great.Alright people, I suggest finding a way to save this as soon as possible just in case NBC finds me and destroys me.
Merry Christmas everyone! Along with the long list of carols and Christmas songs stuck in my head this week, here’s one by Marie Digby. Not to be corny or hopelessly romantic, but it’s every girl’s silly wish.
It doesn’t look like this kind of love is coming through right now so Santa, you can hang onto that for now.
As we get older, our Christmas traditions change and some years it’s harder to get the family together. While the season may not live up to our child-like expectations, it doesn’t mean that our spirits can’t be as high as they used to. While we always ask for more from life, we need to appreciate what we already have. Presents under a tree have always been a mere symbol of the love within a family. You don’t need to have those things to celebrate the real reason for this holiday…
Goodbye summer, partially in the city. As we get more acquainted with each visit, I hope to see you everyday next summer!
random thoughts: malibu and cranberry juice makes life happier =]
hold onto old friendships, there’s something amazing about being able to pick up exactly where you left off. they’ll be there till the end.
some things just work out. you will move on, but you never know if someone from your past will show up in your future.
stay focused and passionate about your goals. even if what’s distracting you seems to be your passion at the the moment.
curiosity is excitement. if you knew now what tomorrow will bring, you would walk through life apathetically.
New York City, New York
hearts were made to be broken.
it should be clear after the first strike, but sometimes it takes three to break through ignorance, stubbornness, and thick walls of emotion.
the truth, reality, and self-justification have never been more clear.
leave what’s done. behind. let go. it’s time for a new chapter.
hello sweet complete release.
back to choreographing my ballet number for dance club =]
I was debating between “Untouched” by the Veronicas or “Cosmic Love” by Florence & the Machine. I’ve already choreographed a fourth of Untouched so I figure I can save Cosmic Love for next semester. What do you think?
6 days until Marist!!

vibrant, passionate, calming, and enrapturing all in one photograph. how is this for real?

What a great day. I got to spend time with my beautiful big sis and got to see OK Go and NeedToBreathe in concert in Philly for free! Here’s the epic part: OK Go frontman (lead singer and guitarist) Damian Kulash sang “Last Leaf” literally less than a foot away from me. I almost melted, it was a mix of the heat and his amazing voice. Boys who sing and play guitar=my weakness. He climbed down from the stage and came to the middle of the piazza where his roadie placed a black case for him to stand on which just happened to be right in front of me. In Marist lingo: ah my heart!!
The first two pics are of Damian. The third is of Andy Ross because he is adorable in his shnazzy orange suit and the fourth is of Bo from NeedToBreathe, my sis and I couldn’t get enough. ;P I am officially a new fan of NeedToBreathe, not only for this one but for their awesome live performance and songs I forgot I knew such as “Washed by the Water”.
By the way, OK Go - one of my favorites because of their fun and addictive indie rock sound and their immensely creative and entertaining music videos. Remember the guys on the treadmills? Yea that’s them haha. =] If you liked that one, check out their videos for “This Too Shall Pass” and “End Love”.
A weekend of recording CoLo YouTube videos has convinced me to pick up my guitar again. I’ve been so busy/lazy/preoccupied with other things when it’s music that has always been my inspiration.
1. Review all material from past guitar lessons (which by the way were only $5 for 5, one-hour long lessons at Marist =], sweet deal)
2. Finish writing my most recent song.
3. Finish choreographing my dance number for the dance show.
Sounds like a plan? Okay, break! =]
